New Clinical Chemistry Reagents available!
Mutipurpose & System Reagents

We are proud to introduce the new clinical chemistry reagents:

CREATININE (enzym) (Cat. No.: 10053; 10053150; 10053600)

CYSTATIN-C liquidirect (Cat. No.: 11150; 11150150; 11150600)

CYSTATIN-C Calibrator Set (Cat. No.: 11155) and

CYSTATIN-C Controls (Cat. No.: 11153)

The kits have now cleared the CE certification process and are on stock.

The new CREATININE (enzym) liquicolor and CYSTATIN-C liquidirect kits are intended for the testing for kidney diseases and monitoring of the kidney status of the patient.

The new CREATININE (enzym) liquicolor has clear advantages in comparison to any Creatinine assay based on the Jaffé method as our current assay the CREATININE liquicolor (Cat. No.: 10051) which will still be available. It shows higher specificity than the Jaffé method and also does not contain any corrosive ingredients and has not be handled as dangerous goods. In addition, no significant interferences with ascorbic acid, bilirubin, hemoglobin or triglycerides are detectable. As already known from the Jaffé method the Standard is being included in the multipurpose reagent. For the calibration of the system reagents please use the AUTOCAL (Cat. No.: 13160) starting with the lot# H014.

In addition, the new CYSTATIN-C liquidirect assay can be used for determining the glomerular filtration rate of the kidney much more accurate than any other parameter available. It is completely independent of other body compartments such as muscle mass and therefore gives you a perfect view on the kidney performance. For this parameter separate CYSTATIN-C Controls and CYSTATIN-C Calibrator Set are needed and available for multipurpose and system reagents.

The assays outstanding design and performance ensures its acceptance in the Market as the CE certification meets the latest regulatory requirements.
